Exercise is Not Punishment
We’re not in school anymore, being forced to run laps in PE and questioning our life choices. We’re adults. We get to choose. And I’d like to hope we want to make choices that are good for us.
Yes, exercise is great — but somewhere along the way it got marketed as punishment.
*Overate? Better “burn it off.”
*Enjoyed Christmas? Time to “undo the damage.”
*Workouts that seem proud about how much they make people suffer 🤮
And honestly? That mindset helps no one.
Movement doesn’t have to be miserable to be effective. Fitness can be fun. You can move your body because you want to — not because you feel guilty, ashamed, or pressured
🏥 Move to feel healthier.
💪🏻 Move to get stronger.
🤯 Move to clear your head, boost your mood, feel powerful, become a total badass...
You’re allowed to enjoy it. In fact, I’d much rather you did 🧡
Because the best kind of movement is the kind you want to come back to.
